Learn how to remove Smit Fraud

Smitfraud is making a comeback

Smitfraud has been around for many years now.  It does seem that since Cyber monday in early December of 2008 Smitfraud has made a very big comeback.  The new strain of Smitfraud is very simlar to the older ones but it does seem to come with other rootkit infections as well.  Most people who are infected with Smitfraud will notice they are unable to change their desktop background, they can not bring up the task manager and they also are infected with a fake security client.  As well many users are reporting being infected with Zlob, virtumonde and several other such virus trojans as well.

We have tested Spyware Doctor with Antivirus and it does still pick up and remove this newer strain of smitfraud.  You can download the software at www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor-antivirus/.  After the install you should go under settings and then select the check box next to scan for root kits.  This will ensure if you do have any rottkit threats the software will remove them.  As usual the makers of this software PCTools does offer free help via, phone e-mail and a forum for all of those that make the purchase.

We also contcted the experts over at www.onlinecopmuterepair.org to see what they had to say about the increase in Smitfraud.  They did confirm they are getting double the average volume in people being infected with Smitfraud.  This is an online computer repair company that remotes into users scomputers and fully removes all viruses adn spyware.  If you are infected and need an expert to help you out then this is the place to go.  They are the leaders in online computer repair and charge far less then most

How to Remove Smitfraud the Easy Way

I know many people out there just want to be done with the whole Smitfraud infection and they want protection so this does not ever happen again.  The quickest way to remove Smitfraud is to use software that actually works at removing this threat and the other threats like Virutmonde and Zlob that come down with it.  We use Spyware Doctor with Antivirus when out in the field.  You can make the purchase over at www.pctools.com/consumer/products/  Be sure to download the right one.  Choose Spyware Doctor with Antivirus.  That way you are covered all round.  Once installed you will be asked to update the prodcut and then reboot.  Once you re-boot simply hit the run a full scan option and let it do it’s thing.

For those that ignored this infection for a long time you may need to re-set a few settings.  Instead of walking you though all of that just download and run this tool called Smitfraudfix .  Download it to your desktop and then double click to open. Select option 2 to run a cleaning.  You can view the full details on how to use this tool over at  siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php.  While this tool is good at cleaning up left over traces it does not address the full issue or offer any kind of future protection.  That is why you need a client that actually works at removing all spyware and viruses on your computer.  download a copy of Spyware Doctor with Antivirus and you are good to go.
